Weekly Wipeout 16

This video is a little boring at the beginning but the ending is a payoff worth waiting for. Classic example of kids screwing around and then crapping themselves to clean-up their mess before the parents come home. This movie shall be known as Trampoline Toss.

Weekly Wipeout 15

Here we are with another example of human brillance. The cop in this video actually discharged his taser into his leg and the comedy begins there. It is a quick little film that I have dubbed Taser Tumble.

Music Video NOT!

So you would think that I learned my lesson about embedding form the last time but I don't think I have. What started as an innocent discussion with my friend Eric on Cathy Dennis (who, back in the day, we both thought was hot!), quickly turned to Tara Kemp (who, back in the day, I thought as hot!). I actually couldn't remember her name, but fortunately Eric did. The next step was to google good ole Tara and see what she has been up to. Which has been nothing. In my searching though I found a site that lets you embed music videos onto your site. Therefore... we have "Hold You Tight" by Tara Kemp. OR NOT! Well it seems to me that VideoCure sucks. I tried several different artists, starting with Cathy Dennis since I thought it was appropriate for the story and moving through several more current artists, with so luck what so ever. None of the codes seemed to work at all. Bad thing is you don't get to enjoy the bike pant wearing beauty of Tara Kemp. The good thing is you don't get to enjoy the bike pant wearing beauty of Tara Kemp and the video will not start everytime I go to open my blog. Sorry, or Your Welcome.

Where's Wade 2: Answers

Here are the much anticipated and awaited answers to last week's Where's Wade 2 competition. Thanks to all who played and I hope you guessed right. A special congratulations to Where's Wade 2 winner, Abigail Hinde of Hoboken. Abigail was the first lucky fan to correctly find all the Wades first. Abigail won an all expenses paid trip to the Bahamas courtesy of CheepCarribbian.com. Congrats again Abby and better luck next time to all the other participants.

Wade totally rocked out!

Notice the glances of that creepy brother.

A freak fire seems to have broken out.

Red Rocket! Red Rocket!

Backgammon Backpacking!?!?!

That professor definately has a filled diaper. Look at his face!

Why it is better to be a girl!

So I have been in Pleasantville for the past 3 days for an animation workshop at the Jacob Burns Film Center. Today was the last day, and we decide to swill a celebratory beer at the nearby pub before catching the train north. I slip into the men's room and to drain the main vein. I water the lily, wash my hands and return to bar. Upon sitting on the stool, I realize the front of my shorts is wet from the bathroom sink. Now it was bad enough that the soap dispenser shot Jergens like a pornstar and almost took my eye out but the faucet sprayed like a drunk Daffy Duck playing the little brother in Music Man. Of course no one looks at me, A GUY, leaving the bathroom with wet spots splattered all over his crotch like a Pollock painting, and thinks, "There must be a shitty sink in there." No. They think what my friend Scott did, which was "Dude, did you piss yourself?"

Weekly Wipeout 14

This isn't really a video of a wipeout per se, but it still cracks me up. According to the write up, the coaster is gravity driven but the rider must engage the brake. Needless to say, I am not sure anyone told the little girl in the cart she had to do that. WHAM! The mom's reaction is priceless. Alpine Adjustment is the name of this week's wipeout.

Photoshop Phriday Pheature: Where's Wade 2

Finally the long awaited sequel to Where's Wade has arrived. That's right it is time to play Where's Wade again. Wade travels around with his trusty video camera and pops in on people's pictures. Can you find Wade in these series of pictures.
As always there is a nice mix of easy and hard.

First we find Wade has traveled to Pakistan to see a concert. The crowd goes wild as Bon Jovi takes the stage.

HINT: Look for Wade's white bucket hat.

Wade happened along the new arrival of baby Emily along his travels and thought he would video the joyous event. I think the youngest brother is checking Wade out. Creee Pee!

HINT: Wade wanted a good shot of the baby.

A crasher tried and true, Wade jumps into a group shot at the annual MTA Safety dinner. Don't let the picture fool you, these guys knew how to party like it was 1999. Wade was hung over for a week after this night.

HINT: Wade forgot to wear his safety patrol vest so he stood by the only other person who stood out worse than him.

Next Wade went to an anti-war rally in Iran. The parade was a little morbid but all the kids had a great time when the rocket launcher rained candy on the crowd.

HINT: Wade is often the wallflower at social gatherings.

Wade knew backgammon was fun. Wade knew backpacking was fun. But Wade was shocked at how exciting Backgammon Backpacking was. WOW!

HINT: Wade was on the white team.

The Kite Club at NYU had spent all semester on their pink and blue kite named Yoko, and Wade was able to be there for the grand unveiling. It was so exciting Professor Johnston filled his depends twice.

HINT: Sometimes Wade likes to play the voyeur.

Have fun hunting and be sure to check back for the answers!

Weekly Wipeout 13

Rachelle and I recently purchased DDR for our XBox after being exposed to it at our friends' house. Neither one of us is as good as this guy though. I guess though when we get to be as good as him and decide to embarrass ourselves at an arcade, it may not bother us if we eat it like he does. Here is this weeks Weekly Wipeout, DDR Drop found at eBaums.
PS - the same friends that go tus hooked on DDR just hooked us up with GUITAR HERO! Are you ready to ROCK!?!?!

Mo' Hellboy Animated

Well I didn't get to go to SDCC this year (actually I have never been to SDCC) however being the geek that I am I went to Hellboy Animated Panel virtually to preview see what it looks like. Though it takes a turn from The Amazing Screw, which as I stated before was moving Mignola drawings, it still is pretty cool. It makes Hellboy more Saturday morning friendly and a little more accessable. Anyway... I will have to wait and see how it plans out but I am still extremely excited for it. Be sure to go and check out the panel if you have an hour.

The Return of PBF!!

It was gone from my links but now it is back. An amazingly funny webcomic known as Perry Bible Fellowship. The site was under construction and was moved for a little while so I dropped the link until the new site was unveiled, and that day has finally come! This smart and totally random comic strip was introduced to me by my great friend Stacie. I spent an entire afternoon (when I should have been teaching) laughing out loud at these great drawings. Please find the time to enjoy!

Weekly Wipeout 12

This one made me laugh out loud. How the cameraman is not laughing hysterically is beyond me. Of course I feel bad for the cake. Enjoy this weeks wipeout entitled, Ditch Digger.

Wedding Program for Men

Here is the programs we made for the men for the ceremony. We bought the handmade-esque floral drawing paper and deckle cut the edges. Then spray affixed the info sheet. The names have been blurred to protect the innocent. Of course, I just realized today that there is a mistake. Can you find it?

Wedding Program for Women

As promised, here is the first of the two programs we created.
Since it was planned to be an outdoor wedding in the beautiful summer gardens of Mohonk Mountain, we decided to make fan programs for the ladies. They served as a double purpose. One was to be a program, which I guess you are supposed to do so that everyone knows who everyone is, but I am not sure why they are at my wedding if they don't know who everyone is, but that is a whole other entry. And two, to act as a fan to keep themselves cool. Of course it rained and we had the ceremony inside, which was sill beautiful, but made the fans a little less purposeful.
We bought handmade paper from a great online place, which I forgot the name of, with petals and a very textured finish. Then we printed the program on ivory card stock, traced the fan pattern we designed, cut it out, and spray affixed it onto the rose petal paper. Next we cut out the fan shapes and tore the top edge. Last we added grommets and laced through pink ribbon.
The poem at the top of the program was written by Rachelle and we read it to each other during the ceremony.
Male program to follow.
Names were blurred by request to protect the anonymity of the participants.

Response Card (a.k.a. People's Evidence A)

Just to prove the point of where some of the confusion in regards to our RSVPs here is a copy of one. We used Rachelle's hand made paper for the backing. Then we printed on pink paper (which matched the backing paper on the invitation) and deckle cut the edges. Please notice the lack of a "Decline with regrets" line. And there in lines the confusion. Do I send back the response even though I am not going? Do I not send it back and hope that the bride and groom assume we are not coming?
ANSWER - Send it back writing in "Can't make it."
Please note the particular enigmatic response from our one guest.

Hey Kids!

Another most see comic brought to you by my great friend Stacie. This time she is bringing her great Stick Figure talent to illustrate the words of Kevin Melrose. Fenton & Fenton, Boy Detectives is smartly written with a great sense of humor. Bringing modern day sarcasm to the innocence of the Hardy Boys. All that wrapped in an Encyclopedia Brown mystery. Just starting and it already has me hooked!
