WHAT!?!

NFL Rumors

Super shuffle? McNabb, Briggs swap makes sense
Monday, May 21, 2007 2:06 pm EDT

Was the recent drafting of quarterback Kevin Kolb a sign that the Philadelphia Eagles might trade Donovan McNabb before the 2007 season?
That's one theory, anyway. As for a possible destination, the Chicago Bears are ready to win the Super Bowl. They might have won it last year except for a glaring weakness at quarterback.
The key to this scenario is Bears linebacker Lance Briggs, who has said publicly that he will never play for Chicago again and who refused to report to minicamp on Friday.
Briggs is, arguably, the best weakside linebacker in the game and is only 26. He could help Philly rebuild its defense while Kolb gets ready to take control of the offense.

I am not an idiot. I feel McNabb may be past his prime. I would welcome a Super Bowl ring to Philly and I am not sure McNabb has the post season playing skills to get it done. But WHAT!?!
First give their first round pick to DIVISION RIVAL Dallas! Then they are possibly considering trading McNabb to conference competitor Bears! Is Andy Reid suicidal, because his kids are messing up! If so kill yourself and NOT my team! DAMN!

News2Me: Freaky Deaky Frog Juice

Here is a story from Peru. I guess this drink helps drinkers get their freak on. It would just help me get my lunch up.

Frog juice in high demand in Peru
By LESLIE JOSEPHS, Associated Press Writer Thu May 3, 10:55 PM ET
LIMA, Peru - Carmen Gonzalez plucks one of the 50 frogs from the aquarium at her bus stop restaurant, bangs it against tiles to kill it and then makes two incisions along its belly and peels off the skin as if husking corn.

She's preparing frog juice, a beverage revered by some Andean cultures for having the power to cure asthma, bronchitis, sluggishness and a low sex drive. A drink of so-called "Peruvian Viagra" sells for about 90 cents.

Gonzalez adds three ladles of hot, white bean broth, two generous spoonfuls of honey, raw aloe vera plant and several tablespoons of maca — an Andean root also believed to boost stamina and sex drive — into a household blender.

Then she drops the frog in.

Once strained, the result is a starchy, milkshake-like liquid that stings the throat.

At least 50 customers a day ask for steaming beer mugs of frog juice at Gonzalez's countertop-only restaurant in eastern Lima, and many treat the concoction as their morning — and afternoon — cup of coffee.

Rebeca Borja, a 53-year-old housewife and mother of five, originally from Lima's central highland city of Huancayo, where the beverage is common, said simply: "It gives you power."
