The Centennial!!!

YES! It is true this is the 100 post for Wade's World! WOW! What can I say except WOW!?! One hundred posts! It seems just like yesterday I said "What the fudge is a blog?" It seems like only last week that I said "What kinda fudgin' geek has a blog?" It seems like only last month I said "Does this sore look infected?" Well that was just last month, and it was infected, but luckily I went to the doctor. Anyway, thanks if you've been reading. Have a great holiday season! Peace, Love and Inexpensive Clean Prostitutes to all!
Oh and as a belated Thanksgiving gift, here is a turkey.

Hope you enjoyed yours as much as I enjoyed mine.

Boredom Beater 11

This little game is a Street Fighter-esque game based on the new movie Let's Go To Prison. Graphics are old school, controls are limited, you get to watch clips from the movie (which you probably already saw on the commercials), but what the fudge have fun. Prison Pummel.

Weekly Wipeout 26 & 27

Again a double dose making up for last week. Neither are really wipe-outs per se but still you should enjoy.

First is Mustang Mash, where a kids drive his Dad's brand new $50K+ car through the garage. That kid is dead!

Second is Pool Plunge, where a kid leaps off a hotal roof into the pool only to clip the edge of the pool. That kid is dead!

Boredom Beater 9 & 10

Since I missed last week, I decided to give links to two boredom beaters.

The first is a Star Wars-esque game. Blast the tie-fighters as they come at you. Not very challenging but IT'S STAR WARS!!! Here it is, Tie-Fighter Takeout.

The second is called Shark Savior. You have to throw life rings to the people in the water. I got bored before I won (if you even can win, I saved 125 victims) and let the shark feast. The waters filled with blood and floating legs.

Enjoy!

The 25th Weekly Wipeout

Amazingly this is the 25th Weekly Wipeout. I would love to say that this wipeout is the funniest wipeout I have ever seen but that is not true. It is pretty funny though. So go and check out Wave Wipeout.

Another Funny Email

Here is another email I received. This one was sent to me by my sister and I thought it was great.

We find our friend holding an interesting sign.

What does it say? Let's take a closer look.

This mom has GREAT parenting skills. Talk about tough love.

Boredom Beater 8

DARTS!
It was a tough game to figure out how to play and the directions were so tiny I used a magnifying to read them and I still couldn't make them out. But here is what I learned... you have to hit the double 20 spot before you start subtracting points AND the game automatically targets for you! The goal is subtract down from 301 to 0 before the opponent by hitting the board. Outer ring is a double. Middle ring is a triple. Bulls Eye is worth 50. You get to play both sides (blue and red) so you always win AND you always lose. Have fun.

Bathroom Renovations Complete!

So we started renovating our bathroom recently and it is finally complete. I thought it would be nice to catalog some of the photos of the old bathroom and let you compare them to photos of the new. So here they are but first a quick little video.

Old shots

As you saw in the movie, here is a shot of the bathroom from the hall.

Here you can see the mirror we hung as a temporary replacement for the white wicker. I dubbed it the gut mirror because all I could see in the mirror was my gut. The lamp shade mysteriously broke while Rachelle was cleaning it. How convenient.

Here is a shot of the lovely wallpaper they used.

What's that? You can't tell what it is! Well here is a closer look.

Here is a close-up of the floor. We liked the tile but hated the gray grout.

In progress shots

When we took down the wallpaper we discovered there was a hole in the wall, probably for a medicine cabinet. Instead of replacing the wallboard they just covered the hole with wallpaper. It was like we had a drum in the wall. Anyway, we liked the idea of the medicine cabinet but the hole was not a standard size. Therefore, Rachelle built a medicine cabinet in the hole.

We ripped out the old vanity which for some reason smelled like urine inside. Odd, I know.

New shots!

These are pretty self-explanatory.
The bathroom, now.

The new towel rack. AND new door knob.

New glass shelf over the toilet (with new seat). And you can see the new GFI plug (the only plug in the bathroom before was the in the light fixture).

New ceiling fan. New crown molding (which was bitch and a half to cut right).

Close-up of floor with white grout. Rachelle used acid to eat away old grout and then put in the new. Very cool.

Farley's Coffee Commercial

This Tuesday I had a conversation with a good friend of mine. He was telling me about an amazingly funny Chris Farley sketch from Saturday Night Live. In this sketch, Farley plays a man who, because of a hidden camera commercial, has had his coffee switched. When the truth is revealed, Farley's reaction is extreme to say the least. Hearing about this I was laughing and I had not even seen it. I went home and searched the great YouTube and FOUND IT. After watching it, it was as funny if not more than my friend's description. Take a gander for yourself. Hopefully you will laugh as I did.

Weekly Wipeout 24

This is a great wipeout right off a stage. Very funny because he is old and he totally just walked off the stage. HA! Enjoy Stage Stumble.
