Weekly Wipeout 11

Here is another post of a fun little wipeout. I guess a pretty strong wind picks up at Busch Stadium. So strong that it hurls a trash can into a spectator trying to make it to the other side. We'll say that this one will be known as Trashcan Trounce.
Have a laugh on me.

New Links

So, I think these were created to be real and to educate the masses on the greatness of christianity but they just crack me up.

The Brick Testament

This site KICKS ASS! I was first exposed to the book not knowing it was first a website. Laugh Out Loud Funny Stuff!

Real Ultimate Power

Through Real Ultimate Power I found this cool site. Though my friend Stacie's stick figures would totally kick these guys' asses, it is a hoot.

Embedded Was A Mistake!

Well my experiment with embedding a video into blog worked but now I am stuck with that video of the dumb ass kid smavcking his face into the escalator bursting into the silence of my room everytime I bring up my blog. Which means you have to deal with it too and for that I apologize. I will never embed video again.. unless it is really cool.
PEACE YO!

It's Official 2 addendum

OK... I need to apologize to anyone who was offended by my snide remarks in the last blog regarding not responding to the invitation. In their defense, when creating the RSVPs we neglected to include a line for declinations. So must people (we assume) thought if they were not coming they did not need to send back the card. However, what the hell was my mom's accuse? According to her "Well you knew we were coming!" People like that burn me up. They burn me up real good! Anyway it was a great time. Sorry you missed it. Pix to come.
ps- Stacie you better use that stamp. In fact I think a Batman or Hellboy sketch card might fit perfectly in the envelope and it is already addressed. What a great wedding present idea. HINT, HINT, NUDGE, NUDGE, you know what I mean?

It's Official 2

Yesterday I got hitched!
All the blood, sweat and tears paid off and it was a great time. Now since I know none of you can crash the wedding with your wild helicopters and flashing cameras, here are the invitations we made.Rachelle made the paper and I painted the orchids on the 80 sheets. Then I made a wood stamp to add an Asian feel to the painting. The stamp was "RWR" entwined with the first "R" facing backwards. We had to spray mount a sheet of pink paper to sit behind the painting to add contrast. We printed the the text on vellum and used ribbon to hold it in place in the envelopes we bought. The ribbon was laced through 8 slits we cut into the back (Where Rachelle used a store bought stamp to make sure eveyone knew we made this thing) and sent to the front.
We then wax sealed the evelopes shut with the Chinese symbol for LOVE.
The envelopes were cool. Envelopements made the envelopes and they came with a built in pocket that that held all the important papers (directions, hotel info, registry stuff, and RSVPs (that people didn't feel they needed to send back)).
More wedding info will follow including our favors, our programs, and our table markers. Keep your eyes peeled.

Making up for lost time and Recommending

Last night I got very excited. I was watching SciFi Channel (which Rachelle watches all the time and usually I get stuck watching some horrible SciFi Original movie with really bad effects and acting... sidenote - How can a channel that carries such great shows make such terrible movies? How dammit!?!) and I saw what had to be the most exciting commercial I personally have seen in awhile. A Mike Mignola cartoon that looks like Mike Mignola art! Yes fans, Hellboy creator has a cartoon that looks like a moving version of one of his comics. Based on The Amazing Screw-On Head comic The Amazing Screw-On Head cartoon is a must see for anyone that even appreciates the artistic talent of Mike Mignola. It is being shown at SciFi.com (the entire 22 minute pilot) and is worth your time to check out and take the follow up survey. It is witty as is Mr. Mignola's writing often is and it is really amazing to see how well the animators have mimiced Mr. Mignola's style. Ch-ch-check it out!
Also, check out a great blog devoted to the production (cause it is a production diary) of Hellboy Animated series. If this cartoon looks as good as Screw-On, I am lovin' life.
New House! New Marriage! New Cartoon! Who could ask for anything more!?!

Weekly Wipeout X

The X is for 10 and the X is for Xtreme.
This wipeout is painful to watch. I can't even laugh at it.
This kid decides to jump down an escalator and slide down the railing on his hands. Unfortunately he is not strong enough to hold his own weight. He does a total face plant into the metal steps. OUCH!
This clip is extreme and contains blood.
Weekly Wipeout X is fondly entitled Extreme Escalator Emergency.

Along with linking I am attempting to embed this video on the blog. Hope it works and if it doesn't... big deal you have the link!

Weekly Wipeout 8 & 9

I have been asleep at the wheel. The school is out, we are in the new house and the wedding is a week away. Therefore my time to blog has been limited. The easiest thing for me to do for you is to post some links to some laughs and fun. These 2 finish up the month of June.
Weekly Wipeout 8 is an oldie but a goodie. I saw this one awhile ago but it still makes me laugh. This newsman gets jumped by a little newt and looses it. I shall dub this one Lizard Leap.
For Weekly Wipeout 9, I am linking you to a little bit of fun. The bikini clad blonde tumbles endlessly through a field of bubbles. Sometimes smacks the surface pretty hard and flops around like a stunt dummy. If she gets stuck you can click on her and move her along. have fun playing with Bubble Babe.
Enjoy.
