Weekly Wipeout 19

This week's wipeout comes courtesy of Break.com, the one site that isn't afraid to exploit the world's greatest idiots. Anywhoo, Body Slam Bungle features a winner of a looser who is so drunk he could hardly hit the broad side of a barn, much less the table top him launches himself towards. Enjoy.

Boredom Beater 2

This game was originally sent to me by my sister a long time ago. When I got the idea to share games with the world (or at least the small (very small) population of people who read this blog) i decided to hunt it down. The object of the game is to get the stubbling drunk guy home by leaning left and right with your mouse. It is pretty addictive (like last weeks). My current record is 47 meters. Try it yourself! I call it Wasted Walker.

Ch-ch-ch-check it out!

Wh-wh-what it's all about!
My great friend and great cartoonist, Stacie has just launched an online comic strip. The strip will be in her amazing Stick-O-Vision style and will contain her great (and often random) wit and sense of humor. I am glad to see Stacie joining Web Comics Nation and you should definately check her out and become a fan now so you can say "I knew her when...".

Go check out Toosday Toons NOW!

Where's Wade 3: The Back To School Edition

Welcome back to another fun-filled romp through a seek-and-find game for the whole family. I wanted to switch over to hiding the hints within the story behind the photo. However, I feared a change of format might frustrate long term fans. Therefore this is a transitional Where' Wade, where the hints are in the stories and listed below the photo.
For those of you that this is your first attempt, here is how you play. Wade (seen below) travels around the world jumping secretly into group photos and then sends them to you to try and find him. Easy enough.

Have phun and good luck!

Wade did not have that much fun at summer camp after he was excluded from the opening day flag ceremony. He was allowed to video the events from afar.

HINT: "video the events from afar" duh

But back to school he went where he was happy to see though hazing was outlawed the school still supported it in secret. As a senior, Wade got to give instead of get the beat down and of course video tape the events from the end of the hall.

Wade tried joining the Akido club but they decided to use him as a punching dummy until he dropped to the ground with internal bleeding.

Not making it in to the Akido club gave Wade more time to pursue his hobby as unofficial lacrosse manager. However, several restraining orders forced Wade to stay 100 feet away.

Of course, Wade's favorite activities are field trips. Last years Vegas Van ride was nothing but fun and loss of money. It was a shame the others forced Wade to ride in the front.

This years trip to Alaska with the safety patrol club may not include as much gambling or drinking but Wade decided to skip the picture and hit the bar on the plane.

Wade tried to hang out with a new clique this year, THE PREPS. Wade tried and tried but they acted like they didn't even know he was alive, as if he was hiding in the shadows.

HINT: "as if he was hiding in the shadows" duh

The drama club however was happy to see Wade return and Wade was really happy to see Kristen. A little too happy and he was served with another restraining order.

HINT: "Wade was really happy to see Kristen" duh

Halloween was always Wade's favorite holiday. This Halloween Wade decided to dress as security camera column.

Wade, though not very popular, was allowed to sit in on the big group picture. There were so many people even he couldn't find him in the picture. Good Luck in your search.

If Wade is fortunate and gets to classes on time he won't just have to watch the graduation procession as they walked by like last year.

Weekly Wipeout 18

Sometimes I feel bad laughing at little kids getting hurt but then I think they are not my kids. I'm not the dumb ass parent letting my kid do potentially harmful stunts while I sit here and video tape and then post it up on the web. At least I am not that guy, yet. So here we go with a little chuckle at some young daredevil's expense. Couch Crunch. Watch and laugh, you know you want to.

How Will I Get Through This Week?

If an effort to find something else to bring to my blog, I decided to add another aspect. I will now feature links to fun games. This addition was inspired by a recent email sent to me by Lauren. So, if you enjoy the game be sure to thank her.
This weeks game, and the first Boredom Beater is designed to test reflex time. It is very addictive (or at least it was for me). The goal of this game is to shoot the escaping sheep with darts by pressing the dart button below the meadow. Being the genius that I am, I spent the first round trying to click the sheep with my cursor. I then read the directions a little closer, but the best I could do was "Bobbing Bobcat".
Anyhoo... go check it out if your bored and try to better your score. Sheep Sleep

Tara's Embedded Curse

My sister just informed me that as she tried to watch the slideshow that she heard tara kemp playing in the background. Her PC was able to play the video and it automatically started playing when she brought up my blog. Again the cursed embedded video rears its ugly head. So hopefully this entry will bump Tara into the archives. However if you are still hearing "Just Wanna Hold You Tight" you need to scroll down and stop it (or finish listening to it if you like) then you can watch the wedding slideshow with the soothing sounds of ben folds and ben folds alone. Sorry for any confusion.

If by chance this video does not embed properly you can check it out at youtube.com. Jimi used our wedding song, Luckiest by Ben Folds. Try not to cry.

Phinally Photoshop Phriday 5

Gotta go back, back, back to school again. Woh oh, I gotta go, BACK TO SCHOOL, AGAIN!
Though I graduated many moons ago, I too must go back to school... again!

Screaming snot-nosed kids, spoiled by there parents and then dumped off so for us to try sort out and educate before we are considered a failing school. I propose No Child Left Behind for Parents. If your child doesn't perform up to federally and state mandated standards you will be considered a "failing parent" and your child has the option of choosing another parent or parents and give them a try. But as crappy as this job can be it is one of the best jobs out there. I think the only other jobs I would prefer would be getting paid to play video games or getting paid to make art.

Plus I'm happy cause I got a girl, crazy for me, and it is love folks.

Also, I can't wait until recess. So I can school some kids in the yard. Yeah boyee!

Anyway... off to school I go!

Even More Wedding Stuff

I had planned on featuring more items we had done for the wedding, but we got our wedding pictures back and the photographer had done an amazing job of documenting the stuff.
Therefore we now have...
...seat assignment cards (which were folded card stock with the orchid painting printed on it as well as the name)

...table markers (which were the orchid painting printed on card stock)

...the favors (which were dendrovian orchids, potted and wrapped by rachelle (with some help from her mom and sister) with a label on a skewer) and umbrellas (which rachelle's mother bought for the ladies to use out in the gardens to shade themselves from the sun. since it rained, they became favors as well)

The photographs are the work of our amazing photographer Jimi Ferrara. His work can be seen at jamesferrara.com. I would highly recommend him for any wedding or event. He is not bossy or intrusive AND he takes amazing, artistic photographs. I will feature some more pics of his from the wedding soon.

Weekly Wipeout 17

Here is a link to a wipeout courtesy of myspace.com which I joined for some reason. I guess I needed to increase my geek status. Anyway, here is the video a little quicky I call Big Bike Beeyotch Bounce.
